When a strong-willed female detective strives to find a lost shipment of girls being trafficked into 1970s London, believing they are being distributed by Mayor Andrews to his wealthy party donors, it takes a young heroin addict to find the trafficked girls, forcing him to choose between helping the victims or his next fix.
Gabrielle, also known as Abi, has always had a passion for performing. Therefore, she achieved an HND in Musical Theatre and a BA (honours) in Performing Arts. Song-writing is also one of her interests and something she plans to improve.
Being more exposed to singing and dancing, Gabrielle wants to explore and is very interested in screen acting. The entertainment industry has always been something she wanted to pursue.
Gabrielle was born in the Philippines and moved to Scotland when she was younger. Now, she has experience as part of a show team where she developed skills as a performer.
Alice Eleanor Matthews
Alice Eleanor Matthews will be making her film debut in the upcoming production 'Forgotten'.
After completing a Masters degree in Astrophysics, Alice has taken various acting courses at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and The National Youth Theatre. In the near future, Alice hopes to work on many film, TV and theatre productions as an actor and science communicator.
Alongside this, Alice actively enjoys surfing, rock climbing, yoga and running. Alice is a huge advocate for women in science, human and animal rights, as well as climate change and the environment. She hopes to integrate these skills and raise awareness around these subjects in future projects.
Lauren is an Actress based in Greater Manchester, she studied Acting at Sutton Coldfield College where she found her love for acting. After taking a gap year due to the covid 19 pandemic, Lauren will be studying BA (Hons) Acting at The Institute of Contemporary Theatre in September 2021. Outside of Acting, her hobbies include Modelling, Rock Climbing and Skiing.
Lauren’s Acting experience includes many theatrical performances, as well as a couple short films in 2019 and 2020. She will filming a couple short films over the summer with Red Box Productions and New Tribe Pictures.
Lauren loves everything about the filming process and believes film is so important because it’s an escape, as well as being an artistic way of dealing with taboo subjects. She is a hard working and passionate Actress who is extremely excited to be working on ‘Forgotten’.
Amelia Hampton Williams
Amelia is a young, bubbly actor from Berkshire with over 15 years of performance experience. Through her experience on stage, she has always been passionate about transporting the audience to another world by taking them on an emotional rollercoaster through musicals, dramas and Greek Theatre.
When being given the opportunity at University during her performance degree to play a male villainous role, she challenged her ability as an actor and became fascinated in immersing herself in versatile complex roles in order to educate and inspire an audience. This has sparked her passion to take her acting ability to film and immerse herself in psychological thrillers and dramas, to explore the human mind further.
Ciara studied at Middleweek Newton Academy for on-screen acting in 2014, she then featured in ‘Angel of Decay’ produced by October Films. Focusing more on the skills needed behind the camera, she then graduated from The University of East Anglia in 2019 with a degree in English Literature.
Ciara currently works in content creation for the international region of one of the biggest tech firms in the world focusing on video production, and communications. Ciara is first and foremost a storyteller, and this underpins everything she does, having ran successful digital marketing campaigns for numerous businesses from an Ice Cream shop to an online pharmacy. As well as articulating the mission statements for charities, such as Samaritans, Cat’s Protection, and FoodCycle all of whom Ciara volunteers and campaigns for on a regular basis. Through the NYFA Ciara is looking to get in front of the camera again, and use the storytelling skills that have been developed since she was last on screen 8 years ago.
The story of ‘Forgotten’ is one that is personal to Ciara, having spoken at The House of Commons in March 2019 on the effects of human trafficking on young boys and girls. Articulating the experience of the victims, and those who bring them to justice is so important.
I have trained at Mountview academy of theatre arts, graduating in 2020. This has lead me to have a massive passion in telling stories. Most of my work has been in theatre doing a few shows at Plymouth theatre royal and writing and performing my own show in London. But over the last year I have been involved in a few short films and featured in a film.

My name is Indy. I’m 20 years old and I identify as a trans male. I’m a young hispanic aspiring actor, I have taken part in small projects and theatre plays, this will be my first short film! I am an incredibly passionate individual with a huge love for the arts. Working in the film industry for me would mean that I could give others the voice they need and being an actor, working alongside other talented artists has made me feel at home. I want to be the influence younger generations need.
Anna is a filmmaker based in London. She is a founding member of Somewhere Films, a female driven filmmaking collective. Her work has been published in i-D, Nowness Asia and more, and integrates her experience in the fashion photography industry as well as her international documentary focus.
Having worked in a multitude of industries including customer services, hospitality and sales, Dave has now decided to follow his true passion - filmmaking.
As a passionate and driven person, Dave has a wealth of film knowledge that he has recently put into practise, securing a position at a Manchester-based production company.
Dave specialises in Art Direction and production design, with a hand in writing and directing that he hopes will propel him into the world of directing dark, humanistic pictures in the future.

Conor is a screenwriter from London, who optioned his first feature-film after graduating from the University of Kent in 2020. Outside of film, he has worked as a playwright and theatre producer. One thing that has continued throughout his career between mediums has been his love of storytelling. His goal for the future is to break further into the industry, continuing to tell stories that entertain others.
Inspired by the bright lights of Blackpool, Writer/Director/Composer Brad James went on to study at the Westminster Film School, developing skills in a multitude of roles to produce his films from concept to screen. Having had films shown all over the world at many international film festivals, competitions and won awards for his work, Brad James has brought about a reputation for having Romantic Narratives articulated through Awe-Inspiring Cinematography and Epic Musical Scores. After working for Sky Television, Brad became a professional educator in Media & Film providing the opportunity to further advance his expertise.
Ben Wili is a self-taught filmmaker from Surrey working as editor and sound designer on “Forgotten”. His tenacious, resilient and passionate approach to filmmaking has led him to explore the mind in new, abstract ways tending towards experimental film. His previous film “Timeless” challenges audiences with interesting editing techniques and broad, lush soundscapes.
He studied as a musician, playing the piano and composing throughout most of his life, but his musicality and keen ear for sound eventually led him to film.
Ben has recently finished college with views to be making exciting, diverse, challenging films for many years to come.
Ali Fawzi is a promising young filmmaker from London, starting off in photography. After his photograph "A Silent Reflection" won at the Army Film and Photographic Competition 2019, Ali wanted to dive into the film industry, with future aspirations of becoming a director.
Ali has been learning a wide range of different creative processes as a filmmaker, operating as a creative freelancer and producing content ranging from music videos to corporate advertisements. Ali is currently a Crew Member on the SetReady course this year, and is looking forward to working as part of a production company for the first time.
Hello, my name is Beth. I am an aspiring makeup artist from Kent in the South East. I don't have much experience on set but I have recently been the makeup artist on a short film for a student project. I specialise in SFX prosthetic makeup but also have experience with glam makeup looks too. I am eager to gain more experience through the academy, as well as, a few other projects I have lined up thanks to the network I have gained through my course with the NYFA.
