We know parents, guardians and prospective members need to know how much it costs to access our organization. The National Youth Film Academy prides itself on an 'access to all' policy, which means we will never turn down talent based on their financial circumstances.

We want to attract the very best participants, regardless of their financial circumstances or location, which is why we offer a number of entrance bursaries. Our bursaries are designed to provide financial assistance to help Members support themselves during their time with us.
BURSARY / ELIGIBILITY
Young people (aged 16-18) who are:
In care (i.e. under the care of a Local Authority)or care leavers
In receipt of Income Support or in receipt of a Universal Credit payment in their own name
Disabled and receiving both Employment Support Allowance (ESA) and Disability Living Allowance (DLA)/Personal Independence Payments (PIP) or the equivalent elements of Universal Credits.
19+ Learner Support Fund
Adults aged 19+ from households where income is below £18,000.
Adult Loans Bursary Adults (aged 19-23) who:
Have Learning Support requirements and/or
Are from households where income is below £18,000.
How much will you qualify for?
Aged 16-19, currently in care (i.e. under the care of a Local Authority) - 75% off
Aged 16-19, Disabled and receiving both Employment Support Allowance (ESA) and Disability Living Allowance (DLA)/Personal Independence Payments (PIP) or the equivalent elements of Universal Credits - 50% off
Aged 16-19 where the family income is below £18,000. I.e the combined income of you & your parent(s) / guardians - 50% off
Aged 20-23 and have Learning Support requirements - 25% off
Aged 20-23 where the family income is below £18,000. I.e the combined income of you & your parent(s) / guardians - 25% off
All remainder payments can be paid over 3-12 month instalments.

Breakthrough into Acting
Programme fees can be paid in full or spread across 3,6 or 12 monthly payments. An additional fee applies to extended payment plans. This fee is calculated based on your application criteria including any bursary deductions. This fee will be calculated at point of application and clearly shown before you make any decision to enrol or pay.
All payment plans are processed through direct debit via Go-Cardless
If you wish to pay your fee, other than through a bank transfer we can offer over-the-phone credit and debit card payments.
We do not accept cheques.
There are no additional costs or 'hidden fees'. The cost are as stated above.
From time to time we may run additional events which you can attend, if a fee is applied it will be clearly stated at the point of purchase.
If you are attending a programme, please note that your fees do not cover the cost of travel or accommodation. You must pay these separately with the company(s) you decide to book with.
You may wish to purchase additional items from our online store . There is no requirement to wear uniform on any of our programmes or events.
You are entitled to a refund on any fee for up to 30 days after commitment. After 30 days, you are liable to pay the full cost. Deposits are non refundable
