This week's film will be the hilarious Johnny English. After a sudden attack on MI5, Johnny English, Britain's most confident, yet unintelligent spy, becomes Britain's only spy.

 

This week we will be talking to BAFTA Award-winning actor Ben Miller

Ben is an actor, director, and comedian, best known for writing and starring in The Armstrong and Miller Show and his role as Rowan Atkinson’s sidekick, Bough, in Johnny English. His other notable film credits include Johnny English Strikes Again, Paddington 2, The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir, What we did on our Holiday, 4.3.2.1., Razzle Dazzle, The Actors, Plunkett and Macleane, and The Prince and Me.

Ben also appeared in the first two series of the crime comedy-drama Death in Paradise. Other TV credits include, Upstart Crow 3, Tracey Breaks the News, Tracey Ullman’s Show, Horrible Science, I want my wife back, Six Degrees of Separation, Ballot Monkeys, Asylum, Professor Branestrawm, and Doctor Who. Ben has also hosted many series including the ITV science show It’s Not Rocket Science opposite Rachel Riley and Romesh Ranganathan and released his science book The Aliens are Coming based on the age-old question ‘Is there life on Mars? Ben is also a children’s writer The Night I Met Father Christmas and The Boy Who Made the World Disappear.

Ben was most recently seen on ITV’s Sticks and Stones from Mike Bartlett and has recently finished Bridgerton, a new Netflix series that debut on Christmas Day 2020.
